Welcome to Test Preps! Our mission is to equip students with the skills, strategies, and confidence necessary to excel on the SAT and ACT, while also motivating them to achieve their goals. The team at Test Preps has successfully prepared thousands of high school students for these exams. Great scores and satisfied parents resulted in a snowball of referrals, from one terrific family to the next. Test Preps offers an exceptional option for parents and students seeking a distinct advantage in the college admission process.

At Test Preps, we understand the demands of a busy high school schedule. That’s why we offer small-group SAT and ACT courses in Amherst (in person) and private tutoring options, which can be conducted in person or via Zoom. Our experienced tutors are here to support you throughout your college preparation journey!

Do you want to learn more about the differences between the Digital SAT and the Digital ACT?

High school students are invited to complete either an in-person version of the SAT and ACT or an online version of the ACT and SAT, which you can learn more about on Test Prep's website!

What to bring: pencils, calculator (optional), scrap paper, and a snack/lunch.

We strongly recommend that all students take the ACT in the paper-and-pencil format since there is only 1 online test available for practice and the online test is clunky! At Test Preps, our philosophy is that small group instruction is the right way to teach students about the digital SAT.

Students are placed in small groups so that they can actively participate in each lesson and guided practice. Enrollment is limited to maintain effective small-group instruction. This teacher-student interaction sets Test Preps apart from other SAT preparation programs. Our small group size enables instructors to identify our students' learning styles and knowledge base and tailor instruction each week to meet the group's needs.
